The Only Big Day Beauty Tips Boho Brides Will Need
Not quite sure what hair and makeup will perfectly pull together your totally boho bridal look? Lucky for you, Nancy Caroline Bridal Styling has all of the tips and tricks you could ever need.
Take a look at two beautifully laid back looks, and find out how to work them at your wedding:
LOOK #1: Rustic Romance
Summer is the perfect time to wear fresh blooms as your wedding topper! Skip the single flower look and opt for the ultimate crown, whether it’s full of big blossoms or something simple, like baby’s breath.
A soft romantic low updo will perfectly compliment your flower crown. Let some curled hair hang down in the front and sides for added softness to really embrace the earthy look.
When it comes to your makeup, opt for earth tones with pops of peachy colors. On the eyes, a shimmer of bronze and a hint of champagne just over the liner and inner eye will add that extra dimension. And to complete the eye, choose a black eyeliner and individual false lashes to up the ante of your rustic affair.
To achieve that soft romantic glow, use a non-spf foundation and concealer to even out your skin tone, then add a bronzer to your cheekbones, and a touch on your forehead and neck. This bride opted for a peach blush and peach lipstick to complete the classic rustic look.
LOOK #2: Summer Garden Party
Are you wondering how to make a smokey eye work for your garden party wedding? Don’t worry, you can totally pull it off with a little help from a pro…
On your eyes use soft greys and taupes for your smoky color and then add a hint of a pale pink on your lid for some dimension and to keep your smoky look light and bright. Black liquid eyeliner and individual false lashes ultimately complete the eyes. Use a non-spf foundation and concealer to even out your skin tone then add a little bronzer on your cheek bones, forehead, and neck. Dial up the femininity with a pink blush and a pink lipstick.
For your garden party hairstyle go with a high, soft updo away from your face with an extra layer of volume. Make sure the waves and curls in the updo are visible both from the front and sides!
And to top it all off, a rhinestone headpiece on the side of your romantic updo. Of course, place the jewels on the side of your updo that will face your guests during your ceremony so they get a good look at that sparkler!
