5 Ways to Work This Year’s Pantones Into Your Wedding Color Palette
Here at Loverly, we’re all about that whole “two is better than one” thing (it’s what marriage is all about, right?). And this year, it looks like the color experts over at Pantone are feeling it too. They just rolled out the 2016 “Color of the Year” and—surprise!—it’s twocolors: Rose Quartz, a pretty dusty pink, and Serenity, a soft periwinkle blue.
Pantone’s executive director, Leatrice Eiseman, announced that when joined together the winning shades “reflect connection and wellness, as well as a soothing sense of order and peace.” And between the beautiful color combo and its wedding-perfect symbolism, we’re expecting to see the pair popping up just about everywhere…
Here are six stunning ways you can incorporate them into your big day:
1. The flowers
Rose Quartz conveys compassion and a sense of composure, making it a pretty appropriate pick for your wedding day florals! Work it into your bouquet, boutonnière, or altar, or give it a prime spot in your centerpieces.

2. The bridesmaids
Romantic brides are going to seriously swoon over these bridesmaid skirts! Choose one of the two Pantones for your girls, or mix and match them for a modern look that’s beyond breath-taking.

3. The invites
Watercolor details in soft Serenity are beyond dreamy, no? Perfect for a seaside ceremony or a summery soirée.

4. The escort cards
Think pink by working Rose Quartz watercolor details into your escort cards. The color pairs perfectly with rose gold accents!
5. The table settings
Rose Quartz and Serenity create an oh-so-fun vibe when they come together at the dinner table. Perk up your place settings with a colorful tablecloth or runner and complementary cloth napkins.
