If you’re like most couples getting ready to tie the knot, you’re probably hoping to wed on a sunny, 75-degree day. Well, now you can control your wedding day weather! At least if you’re willing to pay $100,000 and fly to France.
Oliver’s Travels, a luxury travel company, has discovered a fancy new technique that will guarantee you get the perfect wedding weather. It’s called “cloud seeding” and involves using silver iodide to somehow cause any clouds looming overhead to burst and then disappear. Apparently this environmentally-friendly technique was used during Prince William and Kate Middleton’s 2012 nuptials, so you know it’s gotta be good. Here’s what the company has to say:
“We pride ourselves on our innovative approach, and are thrilled to be able to offer such an unusual, unique service to our customers, to ensure their wedding is the talk of the town.”
The only limitation? You have to book your big day at the company’s chateaux in France to be able to put the cloud-bursting service to work. So there you have it, if you are willing to shell out the cash you could control your wedding day weather.
