This Bride Wore the Sweetest “Something Old” on Her Big Day

When Marcy’s mother heard that her daughter had gotten engaged to Danny, she was more than ready to get to work! She made frequent trips to Michaels, collected ornaments, scrolled endlessly through Pinterest boards for ideas, and crafted creative DIY projects (including writing each and every guests’ name on a rock with glitter). But the most precious gift she gave the bride-to-be was a collection of family heirlooms to wear on the wedding day.

Marcy’s great grandmother, grandmother, and mother had all worn the same necklace when they said “I do,” and now it was her turn. Her earrings were also worn by her mother on her wedding day, and her bracelets belonged to her grandmother and had been worn by her cousin and late aunt. You’ll want to get a glimpse of the oh-so-sentimental wedding:

Yes, Marcy’s mother really did hand-write each guest’s name on these rocks.
