We love a good love story! And we're guessing you do, too... That's why every Wednesday, we're bringing you real life "I dos" that are sure to inspire (and give you a peek into couples' planning experiences). Want to share your happily ever after? Submit your wedding here! #realweddingwednesdayWhen Marcy's mother heard that her daughter had gotten engaged to Danny, she was more than ready to get to work! She made frequent trips to
Michaels, collected ornaments, scrolled endlessly through Pinterest boards for ideas, and crafted creative DIY projects (including writing each and every guests' name on a rock with glitter). But the most precious gift she gave the bride-to-be was a collection of family heirlooms to wear on the wedding day.
Marcy's great grandmother, grandmother, and mother had all worn the same necklace when they said "I do," and now it was her turn. Her earrings were also worn by her mother on her wedding day, and her bracelets belonged to her grandmother and had been worn by her cousin and late aunt. You'll want to get a glimpse of the oh-so-sentimental wedding:
The ring bearer and flower girl are almost aisle-ready! A sweet moment between the bride and her father. Saturated, rich tones made for a bold bouquet and boutonnières. The happy couple (and that beautiful necklace).
Cheerful blue hydrangeas dressed up the tabletops. Test tubes full of loose leaf tea made for perfect wedding favors. Yes, Marcy's mother really did hand-write each guest's name on these rocks.
