Details from Lauren Conrad's Wedding You Can Definitely Do on Your Big Day

The Save to Loverly button makes it easy to save your dream wedding inspiration and vendors to your planning dashboard.
Your imaginary celebrity BFF Lauren Conrad got married to her beau William Tell on Saturday! The new issue of US Weekly, out today, has the exclusive photos. Read on for the 12 wedding details we loved best... The theme: Apples and arrows. Conrad was inspired by a 14th-century legend about a marksman named William Tell who split an apple atop his son's head with a crossbow. There were apples at every place setting and Conrad and her pal Lauren Lowstan baked 300 apples into pies for dessert.
The dress:
The fashion designer wore three dresses on her big day! Her custom Badgley Mischka ceremony dress was inspired by Grace Kelly; it was made of two-toned ivory Chantilly lace, had a 10-foot train, and featured an elegant and dramatic back. She changed into a strapless fitted Monique Lhuillier gown for the reception and wore the slip from her ceremony gown to the after-party.
The veil:
The bride wasn't sure if she wanted to wear a veil or not, but decided at the last minute to wear Jennifer Behr's Arielle Chignon Wrap with a veil attached.
The hair and makeup:
Conrad wore her extensions styled in loose waves and rocked her signature cat-eye.
The food:
The couple's meal included striped bass, beef tenderloin, and roasted chicken. Guests had their choice of two signature cocktails: Ketel One-spiked lemonade or a brandy and hard cider drink called "The Apple of My Eye." Along with the apple pies, they had a two-tiered chocolate cake with ganache and buttercream frosting. And they served up mini grilled cheese sandwiches and bite-sized chicken and waffles at the after-party. Serve a late-night snack at your wedding...
The gifts:
Conrad gifted her bridesmaids vintage hankies that had their initials on them. (Yes, she hunted down vintage hankies with each of their initials!) The wedding favors were inspired by the couple's love of board games; the Martha Stewart Weddings team created customized game night boxes that included a "Crazy in Love" deck of cards that featured the couple's apple and arrow logo. Conrad and Tell also gifted their guests well-stocked welcome bags and "recovery kits" for the morning after.
