6 Fridge-Worthy Holiday Card Ideas for Couples

Collect, manage, and organize your wedding guest information for each event and track their preferences.
Newly engaged? Recently wed? Somewhere in between? No matter what your relationship status is this holiday season, here are six creative ideas for every couple’s card: 1. Take wintry engagement photos. If you haven’t had your photo shoot yet, plan to work a holiday theme into your images (or even just a few pictures). Get some string lights, a tree, a menorah,  or even just some mugs of piping hot cocoa for some seasonal (and holiday card-ready) photos. 2. Announce your engagement. If the timing is right, a holiday card can double as an announcement of your engagement, and it’s the perfect way to share your news with distant relatives and friends you don’t see often. If you have a great proposal photo, you can include it, but any cute photo of the two of you will work. 3. Show off your engagement photos. If you've already done an engagement session, there's a good chance you've got at least a hundred photos of you and your other half. Well, here's your chance to show 'em off! Choose one favorite or opt for a layout that lets you showcase a couple. 4. Do double duty with your save-the-date. Check something off your to-do list (and save on stationery costs) by making your holiday card a save the date, too. Be sure to include some holiday elements so it’s clear that it's also a seasonal greeting. And, of course, remember to send the cards only to people you actually plan on inviting to your wedding! 5. Sign off as the future Mr. and Mrs. Sure, you could use your full names, but the small detail of using your future joint last name just makes your card that much sweeter! Pair this sign off with your favorite shot of the two of you and you're good to go. 6. Share a wedding photo. Already tied the knot? You’ve probably got about a million photos you want to share! Choose a couple of your faves and pair them with a sweet sentiment like "married and bright" or "the best is yet to come."
