  • Campfire Whiskey

    High West Distillery

Campfire Whiskey - This whiskey was inspired by a stay to a Scottish bed and breakfast (where else would a distiller go to escape?) and a dessert of sweet honeydew melon drizzled with a smoky, herbal Scotch syrup. It's a distinctive blend of bourbon, rye and scotch – sweet and fruity, with a pronounced hint of smoke, earth and spice. The bourbon offers up sweetness, a mature rye adds spicy, floral, fruity notes, and peaty Scotch adds that essential hint of smoke. (And of green fields, stone walls and castles! Oh, the peat.) tip of the tongue This is the whiskey to pair with fruit desserts or melty s'mores. Did you know? Scotch, Bourbon and Rye are all "whiskey," but Bourbon has to be made in the United States, Rye comes from either the United States or Canada and Scotch from, um, Scotland.

  • Blueberry Bourbon Jam

    The Jam Stand

Blueberry Bourbon Jam - Whole blueberries. That's the first thing you notice when you open this exceptional jar of "You're My Boy, BLUE-berry Bourbon Jam" from The Jam Stand. Then the scent of bourbon hits you – jamazing. The brilliance of makers Jessica and Sabrina is their ability to take a main ingredient (in this case, blueberries) and accent it with just the precise touch of something unusual (here, bourbon) – enough that you taste it but not enough that it overpowers. As they like to say, this has all the fun of a boozy jam with none of the hangover! tip of the tongue Try it over vanilla ice cream. Here's a fun summer idea: mix equal parts water with jam, then freeze in ice cube trays. You can use these cubes with seltzer or in your favorite fruity cocktail.

  • Breckenridge Distillery Bourbon

    Breckenridge Distillery

Breckenridge Distillery Bourbon - When it comes to making a distinctive Bourbon, a high percentage of rye in the mash is a great start. And this one is only 56% corn with 38% rye (and the last 6% barley), which makes it one of the highest rye-content Bourbons out there. All this rye adds delicious spicy notes to bourbon's sweet and oaky flavors, though this bottle is less sweet than the average. And then there’s the Rocky Mountain snowmelt they use to bring it to the right proof – that is, to have a desirable alcohol content with all the warmth and none of the fire. The water's natural minerals enhance the mouth-feel for a creamy texture we just can't get enough of. tip of the tongue Searching for a less sweet Bourbon? This is the bottle for you!

  • Amère Nouvelle

    Bittermens

Amère Nouvelle - Amère Nouvelle is based on the Alsatian aperitif Amer Fleur de Bière (that translates to "bitter beer flower," as it's a bitter liqueur traditionally served splashed into a light-bodied beer). Bittermens' new bitter is infused with orange, gentian and other secret botanicals that give it an amazing, complex flavor. It's delicious sipped on the rocks, but it also makes a versatile cocktail ingredient that can sub in for dry vermouth or amaro-style concoctions. The distiller was already famous for cocktail bitters (the kind that you use by dash or drop) when they teamed up with Mayur Subbarao, whose homemade vermouths and liqueurs were generating tons of buzz. Together, they've created a line of liqueurs with distinctive twists on regional European classics. tip of the tongue Try adding a splash of Amère Nouvelle to your go-to pilsner.

  • Gingeroo

    Celebration Distillation

Gingeroo - We’re crazy about ginger – snaps, bread, beer – you name it, we want it. And one taste of this boozy ginger ale was all we needed to add it to our list of obsessions. It's got a double-kick, first from spicy fresh ginger, then from bright, sweet Old New Orleans Crystal Rum. Bonus? It's bubbly and only 10% alcohol by volume (a little less than most wine), so we can drink it for hours and hours on a hot summer day. The festive, rubber-stoppered bottle makes it extra gift-worthy, perfect for bringing to a dinner party or cookout. tip of the tongue This might be the easiest summer cooler ever. Just pour over ice and prepare to be refreshed. Or, even better, stir in a teaspoon of fresh lime juice and call it a cocktail. And a day. ingredients 10% alcohol by volume; comes in a 750ml bottle.

    Goodie Girl

Gluten-Free Peanut Butter Cookies - Tribeca's own Goodie Girl makes awesome cookies. That they happen to be gluten-free is far from their defining quality! • Craft-Method Brandy

    Germain-Robin

Craft-Method Brandy - This brandy is Germain-Robin's equivalent of a VSOP (that's short for Very Special Old Pale), a fancy designation for a blend of brandies where the youngest has been aged in wood for at least four years. This stunning blend of older and younger brandies tastes of fresh fruit and feels warm and beautiful, no matter how you drink it. Germain-Robin combines American ingenuity with traditional French craftsmanship, making a cognac-style brandy the way it used to be made, before modern mechanization and corporate concerns started focusing on volume rather than quality. tip of the tongue As delicious as this is to drink on its own, it's also ideal cocktails and an absolute must-have for any bar. Try a Sidecar, one of our favorite classic cocktails. Combine 1 1/2 oz brandy with 3/4 oz of Fruitlab Orange liqueur and 3/4 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice. Shake with plenty of ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

  • Dark Milk Chocolate Bar

    Videri Chocolate Factory

Dark Milk Chocolate Bar - When it comes to milk chocolate versus dark, we used to be a team divided – but now, we're not so sure. This bar united us all in a happy medium. So whether you're a balance-seeker, a milk chocolate lover hoping to ease over to the dark side, a dark chocolate lover looking to lighten up, or anyone in between, Videri Chocolate's Dark Milk Chocolate Bar is the sweet spot. It's the Raleigh-based bean-to-bar chocolate factory's only blend made with organic whole milk, and it's still much darker than your average milk chocolate. More intense, too, but with the rich creaminess often missing from dark varieties. This sweet bar toes the line. Tip of the Tongue Pair the dark milk chocolate with something savory, salty or spicy to bring out the sweet side, or something sweeter like caramel to accentuate the chocolate's contrasting bitter notes.

  • Maya Mountain Belize 70% Dark Chocolate Bar

    Dandelion Chocolate

Maya Mountain Belize 70% Dark Chocolate Bar - Todd and Cam of Dandelion Chocolate were destined for this work. From trying to grow cacao beans in their own apartment to roasting fresh beans in their little oven, it was only a matter of time until these two former tech-industry leaders would abandon computers for cacao. Now, in their small bean-to-bar workshop in the Mission area of San Francisco, they roast, crack, sort, winnow, grind, conch and temper small batches of single-origin beans and then mold and package each bar by hand. Maya Mountain Cacao ferments and dries beans purchased from over 200 small farmers in Southern Belize. This bar greets you with graceful hints of green grape, then blooms into a honeyed pineapple sweetness. It ends on a high note with a tangy kick. With all this flavor, it's crazy to think just cocoa beans and cane sugar went into it. Tip of the Tongue This bar would make killer gourmet s'mores: Top one graham cracker with squares of the bar and a Three Tarts Raspberry Marshmallow . Toast in a toaster oven or under a broiler (watch carefully!) until the marshmallow is browned and the chocolate melty. Top with a second graham cracker and dig in! ingredients Cocoa beans and cane sugar. Comes in a 2 oz bar.

  • Polenta Pennies

    Lark Fine Foods

Polenta Pennies - These cookies may not look like much, to be honest, but we promise – one nibble will win you over. • The 36th Vote Barreled Manhattan

    High West Distillery

The 36th Vote Barreled Manhattan - What to drink? We love to experiment, but we'll always return to the classics. When in doubt, make Mouth's a Manhattan. Thanks to High West Distillery, there's a standout version at our fingertips. Not only does it start with the best of the best ingredients, like High West's Double Rye! whiskey, it's then aged in a 2-year-old rye whiskey barrel for 120 days until the the rye, vermouth and Angostura bitters have had a chance to cozy up and get to know each other. Basically, it's like having a top-notch bartender at a super-fancy cocktail bar (the kind that barrel ages its own cocktails), hanging out in your living room. Why the reference to the 36th vote? High West wanted to celebrate Utah's role as the deciding vote in the repeal of the 18 th Amendment (and the end of Prohibition). We'll drink to that. tip of the tongue As a general rule, cocktails made with only alcoholic ingredients are stirred and never shaken. So be sure to stir this one over ice before serving (and if you're feeling fancy, you can strain it into a chilled cocktail glass). ingredients High West's Double Rye! Whiskey, sweet vermouth and Angostura bitters; 37% alcohol by volume; comes in a 750ml bottle.

  • Sesame and Goji Berry Stone-Ground Chocolate

    ChocoVivo

Sesame and Goji Berry Stone-Ground Chocolate - Ah, Shangri-La: a heaven on earth. A mystical valley of utopian happiness. Exotic and lusted after. A chocolate bar with Shangri-La as its namesake has a lot to live up to, but in this case, it's deserved. With not just one but two supposed superfoods, this bar is automatically more divine than your typical chocolate. The toasted sesame seeds lend an extra richness to the chocolate, bringing a toasty nuttiness recalling the decadence of Halvah, while Goji berries bring a tropical zing and a satisfying chew. ChocoVivo makes this bar with pesticide-free beans sourced from a single plantation in Tebasco, Mexico that are then fermented for two or three days, sun-dried, lightly roasted and stone-ground with no additional cocoa butter or additives. Tip of the Tongue Try melting this into a drinking chocolate. Or really go for the paradise effect by pairing with a white or lighter red wine. Ingredients Cacao nibs, unrefined cane sugar, toasted black sesame seeds, dried Goji berries. 2.6 oz bar. NOTE: Produced in a facility that handles tree nuts.

  • Sugar Wash Moonshine

    Dutch's Spirits

Sugar Wash Moonshine - This "moonshine" is technically a white rum, so it's sweet and clean with a delicious hint of vanilla. Sugar Wash deserves the more storied name, though, because it's made on Harvest Homestead Farm in New York, where federal agents once discovered a one-of-a-kind, illegal, underground distillery run by legendary mobster Dutch Schultz. Sugar Wash is inspired by Dutch's moonshine made on the farm during Prohibition. Today, they (legally) distill pure Demerara sugar in traditional pot stills. tip of the tongue Try it in a Moonshine Mule, recipe courtesy of the distiller: Combine 2 oz Sugar Wash, 3/4 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice, 1/2 oz simple syrup, 3 dashes of Angostura bitters, 1 tsp of chopped fresh ginger and 4-5 mint leaves in a cocktail shaker with lots of ice. Shake until very cold and strain into a highball glass filled with fresh ice. Top with club soda and garnish with a mint leaf. ingredients Distilled from 100% Demerara sugar; 40% alcohol by volume; comes in a 750ml bottle.

  • Gingersnaps

    Bunches & Bunches

Gingersnaps - The perfect ginger snap is hard to find. Like a good man, it must be strong and crispy on the outside, a little soft give on the inside, with spicy and sweet staying power. This ginger snap is just about the best we've ever tasted. We're head over heels. Baker Tamalpais Star Roth-McCormick (yes, that's a mouthful, but she goes by "Pai") likes to say that her snap is "a ginger cookie for those who enjoy the spice of life." We know that you, too, enjoy the spice of life (you're here, aren't you?), so get to it! tip of the tongue These are lovely with an afternoon cup of tea.
