5 New York Fashion Week Trends Brides Will Love

New York Fashion Week wrapped up on Feb. 13 and designers showed an array of dazzling creations (from the stunning to the bizarre). The trends we see on the ready-to-wear runways often have a way of making their way into bridal designers' collections, so we like to pay careful attention during fashion week to get a sense of what's to come in the world of wedding gowns.

We've rounded up five trends from New York Fashion Week that we think will make a splash in bridal fashion -- browse below to see what's hot for fall 2014!

1. Tea-length skirts

We love the shorter-length look on brides -- it's retro-chic and perfect for the dance floor!

2. Pink

Pink was huge on the fall 2014 bridal runways and the ready-to-wear runways alike! We know we'll be seeing a lot more of this trend in wedding gowns.

3. Berry-stained lips

We've been loving all the bold lips on the awards-show red carpets this season and were so glad to see this beauty trend at New York Fashion Week. Berry-stained lips are beautiful and timeless on brides, too -- we hope to see much more of this look in 2014!

4. Loose, comfortable fits

We're so happy to see more comfortable fits on the ready-to-wear runways -- we've had enough bandage dresses and sky-high stilettos to last us a few years! We're looking forward to seeing looser fits translate into bridal fashion.

5. Pastel everything

Pastels were everywhere at New York Fashion Week! Long a tradition in bridesmaids' dresses, we'll be seeing more and more pastels creep into bridal designers' collections this year.
