Bachelorette Party Planning: The Fit Foodie Party

by Rachel W. Miller on

Many brides and their crew are finding new ways of doing the bachelorette party, a trend we love. (Hey, anatomically correct straws are not for everybody!) And since we adore party planning and entertaining, we're excited to share some fresh bachelorette party themes with you here!
One of our current favorite bachelorette party themes is the fit foodie bachelorette party. If the bride has been getting facials and doing cleanses in anticipation for her wedding, this party will be exactly her style.
First, work it (in style). Start your day with a private class at a boutique fitness studio. From hip spin workouts to posh barre classes, more and more upscale fitness options are becoming available and many studios are happy to host private events like this. You can also get matching T-shirts or tanks for the workout that say something clever ("Katie's Last Ride" for a spin class, or "Bottoms Up!" for yoga). Then get cleaned up post-workout with a low-key beauty treatment. Many salons are now doing braid bars or ponytail bars that are perfect for this party; hit one of those, or hire manicurists to do fun colors or nail art on everyone. Once you've worked up an appetite, feast on a yummy brunch that features lots of healthy options and lots of girl talk. (Mimosas totally count as fruit right?)
And don't forget the gifts! A stylish bride who is always ready for her next workout will love cute sports bras more than sexy lingerie. Gift sparkly shoes to wear as she dashes off to yoga class and workout tops she can rock as she does her last few pre-wedding workouts.
