The 1945 Mint Fizz is a non-alcoholic punch that comes from our favorite vintage cookbook. Serve it at a spring wedding shower or bring it to your office's St. Patrick's Day party.
1 cup warm water
1 cup white corn syrup
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/2 tsp mint extract
Green food coloring
3 cans ginger ale
1. Stir corn syrup into water until it's dissolved; refrigerate mixture.
2. Add lemon juice, mint extract, and a few drops of green food coloring to the corn syrup mixture.
3. Just before serving, combine with ginger ale in a pitcher. Serve in tall glasses over ice.
